Effectiveness of traditional and Western medicine treatments for disc issues
A few months ago, I went on a trip with my sisters, and my older sister said her back was hurting.
After a few weeks, I was in so much pain that I couldn't walk, so I went to the orthopedic surgeon for a check-up, and they said it was a herniated disc.
So, I received injection treatments twice a week for several months. The cost was also extremely expensive.
The pain disappeared when I received the injection treatment, but I can't keep getting expensive injections forever...
It's been about a month or two since you stopped the injection therapy, and I hear that you still experience occasional pain when you overexert yourself or feel tired.
Has anyone tried treating a herniated disc with traditional Korean medicine? If surgery is not performed, which treatment is better in terms of cost and effectiveness, Western medicine or traditional Korean medicine?
