(Concern) I often have a lump in my throat. Does acupuncture help?

I often get a lump in my neck that makes it impossible to turn my head. If I just leave it untreated for a few days, it gets better. But since it happens so frequently, I am considering visiting a traditional Korean medicine clinic. I am curious about what kind of treatment is given in such cases. I want to try acupuncture, but does it actually work? Also, I am curious about the sensation during acupuncture. How many visits are usually needed to see an effect?
