Can uterine adenomyosis be treated with traditional Korean medicine?

I am wondering if traditional Korean medicine can also treat women's diseases. A friend of mine is struggling with uterine adenomyosis, and Western medicine recommends removal. Since traditional Korean medicine requires long-term treatment, I am concerned whether it is appropriate to recommend it to my friend who is currently suffering and has made significant progress.
