When receiving acupuncture or cupping therapy at the Korean medicine clinic
I have a herniated disc and poor posture, so I often experience pain in various places, which is why I visit traditional Korean medicine clinics more frequently than others...
I have no aversion to acupuncture and I also like herbal medicine.
But I don't know if it's because my skin is sensitive, but whenever I get acupuncture or cupping therapy, I always get severe bruising...
Cupping usually causes bruising, but in my case, the bruising is quite severe...
If it hits exactly where I can see, it turns into a bright blue bruise as if I got hit somewhere and came back...
It takes about 2 to 3 weeks, during which it appears blue-purple, then green, then yellow, and finally disappears. Haha
I got acupuncture and cupping therapy on July 3rd.. lol
It took over three weeks for the bruises to turn colorful and then finally disappear... I was so embarrassed to walk around with my arm exposed, but only this week did the bruises finally go away...
A very small lump has appeared in the bruised area..
Interestingly, the bruise I got from a big fall ten years ago still hasn't gone away, and now there's a small lump forming where I was injured...
Is it okay to leave those lumps that form when bruises appear without trying to get rid of them? Since there's no pain, I haven't paid much attention, but I'm worried that those lumps might be blood clots or something similar...
And on the day I received the acupuncture, I felt especially weak and more tired.
I heard it's called "body ache from illness," but I don't know if this is a common symptom.
Of course, getting the acupuncture helps reduce the pain and aids in treatment, so it's good, but after the acupuncture, I feel exhausted when I get home.
Originally, even at the Korean medicine clinic, they tell you not to overexert yourself and to rest at home on the day you receive acupuncture. Is it normal to feel this weak and tired?
