[Treatment Review] Child Tic Disorder Treatment and Recovery Experience
Hello.
You go through many things while raising children, don't you?
I felt the same way. Among them, I would like to share a post-treatment story about how I anxiously and desperately sought a solution to my son's problem.
I hope this can be of even a little help, as I believe there are parents like me out there.
My first son developed Tourette's syndrome when he was in first grade of elementary school.
Initially, it started with intermittent movements of the facial muscles.
I also shrugged my shoulders, and eventually I even developed vocal tics (specific sounds, sudden exhalations during breathing).
At first, I thought it would get better over time... but it only got worse.
So, the place I was looking for was traditional Korean medicine treatment.
Although the treatment period was quite long, I took comfort in the gradual improvement and consistently attended, and as a result, the symptoms completely disappeared after one year.
Having experienced it myself, I hope it will be helpful to others who are going through the same experience from a parent's perspective.
For your reference, my second son also had tic symptoms, but only exhibited shoulder twitching, and gradually those symptoms disappeared.
When you notice tic symptoms, please be sure to ignore them and pretend you didn't see, as the children are aware of it. I hope you and the child can overcome it together.
It is also recommended to look for hospitals or Korean medicine clinics that treat tic disorders through internet searches in your area and to visit them for consultation.
Finally,
As I write this, I am once again filled with gratitude towards our sons who have endured and overcome.
Thank you for growing up healthy... My sons!
There are not many photos to help with understanding, but I hope my sincere review will give many people courage.
Let's raise healthy children.
