I went to Yangjae Hanaro Mart today to buy ingredients for Chuseok food preparation.
We have to go down to the rural area of Heungsang, but these days we prepare most of the ingredients at home in advance before going down.
So today’s main dish is japchae, which is an essential part of Chuseok. I bought a lot of glass noodles and other ingredients—spinach, onions, carrots, mushrooms, and meat. Especially, I plan to use the wood ear mushrooms because they make it tastier and give it a unique touch compared to regular japchae.
