LASIK pain

I've been wearing glasses since I was young because my eyesight has been poor.

I didn't dislike my appearance with glasses either, haha. So far, I've just been alternating between glasses and contact lenses.

At some point, it became bothersome and inconvenient, so I want to have LASIK.

I'm scared because I've heard many reviews saying it hurts..

Are there any people who have had surgery and found it just a little painful or okay?
