Sharing thoughts on LASIK and LASEK

I am an "eyewear enthusiast" who has been wearing glasses for over 20 years.

There are prejudices about LASIK and LASEK.

I plan to wear glasses for the rest of my life.

I'm curious about what my biases are.

 

Glasses were also worn by Emperor Gojong of Korea.

A time-honored(?) vision correction device.

In short, many people became grandparents after wearing glasses, and the potential side effects were tested over several generations.

So, you can confidently believe that it is definitely safe.

 

However, LASIK and LASEK are

I must believe that it is definitely safe!

My wife also needs surgery, so she must be safe!

 

However, I believe that many generations have not yet undergone side effect testing. (^__^)

So, I have doubts about whether I can trust that it is safe.

 

This is a highly personal opinion!

 

Then don't just do it yourself, why are you giving me a hard time?

It's not a practical curiosity.

It's just a conceptual curiosity ^__^
