LASIK is such a wonderful gift for someone like me who used to wear glasses.
It feels like it's already been almost 10 years since I had LASIK.
I think it was around June, based on my memory.
I first had an examination to determine if my eyes were suitable for LASIK or LASEK before scheduling the surgery.
LASIK provides immediate vision correction, but with LASEK, you need to wear a protective lens. (I'm not sure if they still do that now.)
Others can remove their protective lenses in about a week, but I think I wore mine for almost four weeks because I didn't recover enough.
It might have been because I used the computer a lot and was tired at that time due to my job.
You went to the ophthalmology clinic every week for examinations and got new lenses.
It's been about 10 years now, and I am still maintaining good vision with a 1.0 correction.
I took off my glasses and experienced a new world.
