Sinsa Station Dermatology Thread Lift Review: Record of Perceived Changes from Mid-Face Lifting

While looking into lifting procedures, I kept feeling like my face lines were sagging overall lately.

Whenever I took a picture, the hollowness under my eyes and the sagging of my jawline looked more prominent.

I became interested after reading reviews and seeing many cases of people seeing mid-face lifting effects with thread lifting. I searched for dermatology clinics near Sinsa Station and found a place with good accessibility, so I decided to visit.

Sinsa Station Dermatology Location and Visit Flow

It wasn't too difficult to find since it is within walking distance from Sinsa Station.

It was easy to find because it was near the main road, and the location was convenient for stopping by after work.

I made a reservation and visited, so the consultation proceeded immediately without any waiting, and it even led to a before photo shoot.

Consultation Process and Mid-Face Lifting Design

During the consultation, I was told that mid-face lifting is the key.

They said that instead of simply pulling, you need to restore volume to the sunken cheek areas to make it look natural.

They explained “where to pull and where to fill” while designing directly on my face, and it was more specific than I expected, so it was relatively easy to understand.

When reading reviews of thread lifting, I had a vague impression that it just tightens, but in reality, the procedure was designed to consider mid-face reduction as well as volume restoration.

Thread lifting procedure process

I was a bit nervous because they said it would be done with local anesthesia instead of general anesthesia.

It stung slightly only when the injection went in, and I felt almost no pain afterward.

It was nice that they kept giving explanations during the procedure, such as "I'll pull this side" or "I'm filling in the volume," so I could know the progress.

I was also able to confirm the process of balancing the left and right sides while the eyes were open.

Changes immediately after thread lifting

The procedure felt like it took about 30 minutes.

When I looked in the mirror right after it was over, I could definitely feel the mid-face lifting effect.

The area under the eyes was pulled tight, giving the overall impression that the face had been lifted upwards, and the volume of the cheeks had been restored, creating a slight sense of three-dimensionality.

The swelling wasn't very severe, and I was able to go about my daily life with a mask on.

Post-procedure progress (based on one week)

As of the third day, there was some slight swelling and minor bruising, but it wasn't very noticeable.

It felt like it was gradually settling in naturally after about 4 to 7 days.

After about a week, I felt like my facial lines were more defined than before, and I could especially feel that my nasolabial folds had become smoother.

I thought this was what they meant by the "becoming natural over time" trend mentioned in thread lift reviews.

Post-thread lifting care details

I was allowed to wash my face starting the next day, and I was advised to minimize facial irritation as much as possible.

Exercise and saunas were restricted for about a month, dental treatment was recommended for at least 1-2 weeks, preferably after a month, and meridian massage should be avoided for 2 months.

I heard that I should wait a month before receiving intense exercise (such as PT, CrossFit, or other exercises that cause facial heat and strain), laser treatments, or other skin-related procedures.

It seemed that caution was needed regarding these areas, as they could affect the maintenance of the thread lift.
