My 8th-grade daughter had her first period in December of 7th grade; she had it in January, February, and didn't have it in March. It is now April, and she hasn't had it yet.
My child asked, "Why didn't we do it in March?" I told them it could be irregular, but they seem to think it has to be done once a month. It is exam season these days, so they stay up late studying and are a bit stressed.
Should I wait this month and then go to the hospital?
저도 중학생때 첫 생리 시작 이후 아무리 학업 스트레스 심해도 생리는 주기적으로 하다가 고3때는 불규칙이 심하게 왔어요 그래서 생리 안하는거 자체가 또 스트레스라서 산부인과 일찍이 가서 선생님과 상담하니 스트레스 받지말고 정상적이니까 기다리면 된다는 그소리 듣고나서는 바로 생리 시작하더라구요. 중2 따님도 혹시 불규칙적인 생리로 인해서 스트레스 받는다면 차라리 상담받고 오는것도 한 방법입니다. 의사 선생님의 전문적인 말은 또 더르더라구요. 같이 상의해서 한번 다녀와보세요
저같은 경우에도 스트레스가 심하면 호르몬이 불균형해지면서 생리가 불규칙해지는 경우가 많더라구요. 그래서 더 걱정되셨을 것 같아요. 시험기간이 지나고 나면 충분히 쉬고 컨디션을 잘 관리하게 해주시고, 다음 달에도 생리를 건너뛴다면 상담 받아보시는 것도 마음이 조금이나마 놓이실 것 같습니다:)
