Is it better for my middle school son to get the HPV vaccine in advance?

I am a mother with one son and one daughter.

My daughter received the HPV vaccine when she was in middle school.

It's a free vaccination.

My son is now in the second year of middle school. Is it better to get vaccinated in advance?

Women get vaccinated a lot, but I don't hear about men getting vaccinated around me.

I heard that the HPV vaccine works better if both men and women get it, and that it's also good for men to get vaccinated.

I've never actually heard that anyone got hit.

It's good for taking care of my son's health as well, and we will meet later.

I think it's proper to be considerate of my girlfriend, but I want to be sure...
