에고 감기로 고생 하시겠네요 ㅠ 저는 감기 걸리면 비염으로 인해서 무조건 이비인후과로 가요
These days, with the large daily temperature range and sudden cold weather, flu and colds are rampant. I caught one myself. I was debating whether to go to a hospital for cold treatment, but I ended up getting it.
1. What is a cold?
It is a disease in which the nose and throat are infected by a virus.
2. What are the symptoms of a cold?
I started to experience coughing, phlegm, runny nose, sore throat, mild fever, chills, and even muscle aches all over my body. In my case, my throat started to feel sore at first, and then my nose started running. I already had severe rhinitis, so I thought the seasonal change had made the rhinitis symptoms worse. Then I started producing phlegm and coughing, and the symptoms got so bad that I couldn't sleep well because of the coughing while I was sleeping. And I had body aches all over, so I thought it would take a long time to recover naturally, so I went to a hospital near my house to get treatment for a cold.
3. Cold treatment consultation content
I went to the internal medicine department for cold treatment, but there were so many patients that I had to wait a while. I realized that colds were really going around. During the consultation, I explained my symptoms and the doctor observed the inside of my throat. I was prescribed a five-day supply of medication, and if my symptoms didn't improve, I was told to come in for a flu test, as it could be the flu. He also told me to eat a nutritious diet and drink plenty of warm water.
4. How to treat a cold at home
The night I went to the hospital for cold treatment, I ate a warm bowl of chicken samgyetang, took some medicine, and got some rest. Fortunately, after sweating a bit and eating some nutritious food, my body aches and pains gradually improved, and my cough definitely subsided, so I slept well and felt like I could live. My hoarseness lasted for two more days before my voice gradually returned to its original state.
5. What kind of medicine did you take to treat your cold?
I was prescribed a 5-day supply of antibiotics, adrenal cortex hormones (anti-inflammatory), anti-inflammatory analgesics, gastric mucosal protectants, antihistamines, Tylenol, and expectorants.
