I was diagnosed with metabolic syndrome and have created a plan to prevent it.

Recently, I was diagnosed with metabolic syndrome during a health checkup. Personally, I had never heard of metabolic syndrome before, so it was unfamiliar to me. Therefore, I have also made a plan to manage my health and prevent metabolic syndrome.
 
First, what is metabolic syndrome?
The causes are varied. If you fall into this list, such as abdominal obesity, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high triglycerides, or cholesterol, there is a high likelihood of metabolic syndrome.
 
After my health checkup showed results for metabolic syndrome, the results sheet and a health management guide to prevent metabolic syndrome were delivered to my home.

It turns out that high blood sugar was the causeㅜㅜ Usually, eating habits, blood sugar, and abdominal obesity are closely related.
 
 
And here is the delivered guide. It seems to have been issued by the National Health Insurance Service.

This is a brochure about preventing metabolic syndrome. I was really surprised when I saw it because there is so much detailed and useful health information about preventing metabolic syndrome available online, to the point where you don't even need to search for it! So I wanted to share it with you~
 
 
According to the brochure, metabolic syndrome is more common than you might think, affecting about 1 in 5 people. Please take a look at the checklist below and see if you might also have metabolic syndrome!

I think the problem was my lack of exercise and eating habits causing high blood sugar. I'm not hypertensive, but lately, my blood sugar has been high due to the foods I eatㅜㅜ
 
I decided to start by improving my eating habits first because I heard that simply changing one's diet can be enough to prevent metabolic syndrome!
Of course, it's difficult to change eating habits all at once suddenly. I started gradually by reducing meat and beginning to eat more vegetables and greens.
 
 
This is a healthy meal I made myself~
It's a transfer, but... haha, it's lettuce, beef pancake, and mushrooms.

And the booklet contains very detailed healthy food recipes for the prevention of metabolic syndrome, so I referenced them and tried making them~
 
If we go beyond just managing our eating habits and also exercise and moderate alcohol consumption to prevent metabolic syndrome, I think we could lower our risk level even further than the warning stage of metabolic syndrome.
I will do my best to prevent metabolic syndrome until that day comes!!

    만이 걱정 되었겠어요
    혈당좀 높어신가 봅니다 
    저희 남편도 작년에 검진결과에 당뇨로
    판정받았어요 운동을 많이 하는데  당뇨가 와서 충격받 았어요
    지금은 음식 조절로 정상으로 돌아 왔지만
    ᆢ그래도 늘 음식  준비할때 신경쓰여요
    당뇨 오기전 지금처럼 신경쓰어면는
    당뇨 안왔을낀데ᆢ소읽고 외양간 고치는 중 이예요ㅎㅎ
    공단에서 준 안내서 보면서 꾸준히 관리 하시면 금방 좋은결과 나올꺼예요

    저도 저 체크리스트에 해당 되는게 몇 개 있긴 하네요. 저는 대사증후군을 진단받지는 않았지만 나중을 위해서라도 열심히 노력해야겠어요. 식습관 개선이 말이 쉽지, 실천하기가 힘든데 바로 실천하신 거 너무 대단하십니다!!

    대사증후군 처음 들어봐요. 5명 중 1명꼴이면 굉장히 많은데요!! 평소에 장쪽이 좀 안 좋으셨나봐요. 원래 혈당이 높으면 각종 질환이 세트로 따라온다고 하더라고요ㅠㅠ 그래도 대사증후군 주의 단계인 거 보면 그렇게 심하지 않은 것 같으셔서 다행입니다. 요즘 나물 맛있어서 나물로 식습관 개선하시는 거 좋은 방법 같아요. 응원할게요. 대사증후군주의 단계보다 낮아지는 그 날까지 화이팅!!!

    불규칙한 영양분보다 골고루 다양한 영야소 섭취 ,
    그러나 당질의 섭취는 줄여야 한다고 하네요
