Gastritis - Sharing my experience of being diagnosed with gastritis for the second time and having a gastric polyp removed during a health checkup 4 years ago!
[summation]
- 1. Diagnosed with gastritis and gastric polyps for the second time during a health checkup about 4 years ago.
- 2. Gastric polyps are removed through an incision using a gastroscope and then examined for tissue.
3. Gastritis can be cured by returning to normal with medication and undergoing another gastroscopy within one year.
-‐--------------------
- 1. About 4 years ago, I had a regular health checkup.
- Of course, you must fast from all sources, including water and food, starting the night before.
- I can tolerate all the food,
- It was hard to hold back water.
If you drink food or water, the test results will change.
You may be diagnosed with hyperlipidemia or diabetes.
I searched and it came up!
And then in the morning, I go straight to Kangil Hospital and get a health checkup.
I took the medication given before the non-sedation gastroscopy. Then I was diagnosed with gastritis and gastric polyps. If it appears
They asked me to sign a consent form to have the tumor removed!
Of course, gastric polyps caused by gastritis must be removed.
I signed it.
Gastroscopy is used to detect gastritis, gastric polyps, and gastric ulcers.
And I prefer non-sedation endoscopy.
Even if you are confident in your breathing, you will still feel suffocated, have trouble breathing, and have a runny nose and drool.
If you are not confident, I recommend an upper endoscopy!
And then I had a non-sedated upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, and they said that gastritis and gastric polyps were found.
It suddenly stung, but then I felt nothing.
Then the doctor said that he had removed the gastric polyp!
And it is said that gastritis was also discovered.
A biopsy is needed to determine if the polyp is malignant or contains cancer cells.
They say the inspection process takes about a week.
Then they tell you to come back to the hospital!
2. Although gastritis and gastric polyps were confirmed through a non-sedated upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, it took 1 to 2 hours to meet with the doctor.
I've been waiting!
And when I got examined, I was diagnosed with gastritis.
The polyp has been removed,
He told me to come back in a week.
In the past, at Gimhae Medical Center Hospital
Diagnosed with gastritis caused by Helicobacter pylori,
I have taken anti-gastric medication before.
This was my second time!
They prescribed me long-term medication!
And then, after about a year, the gastric polyp relapsed.
They said I needed to have an endoscopy!
3. So, I visited the hospital a week later,
Fortunately, they said it wasn't malicious.
Maybe because I'm a man, I don't really worry about it
I just left~
Still, I feel good knowing it's not malicious!
And then, without missing a single day,
To treat gastritis, I also took gastritis medicine regularly!
And I also worked out hard to overcome gastritis.
And a year later, I went and had a non-sedated upper endoscopy, and they confirmed that my gastritis was cured!
Now that I am fully recovered, I am sharing this experience with you~
