Review of taking medicine and visiting the hospital for enteritis treatment
I visited the hospital due to sudden symptoms of enteritis, and I would like to share my treatment process. Currently, I am gradually improving as I take the medication prescribed by the hospital. I hope this will be helpful to those who need treatment for enteritis.
Recently, perhaps due to a weakened immune system, I started experiencing a series of unusual symptoms. Suddenly, I developed symptoms of enteritis, so I received treatment for it. Fortunately, I didn't have a fever; I only had diarrhea, which was accompanied by poor digestion. I felt bloated with gas, making constant rumbling sounds, and my bowel movements felt sluggish. Realizing I needed to treat the enteritis quickly, I visited my local internal medicine clinic. The doctor told me that I had a lot of gas but, thankfully, it wasn't very severe, which relieved me. I had eaten a few foods before the symptoms appeared, but I couldn't pinpoint the exact cause. Still, I was relieved that the symptoms weren't severe.
To treat enteritis, I was prescribed medication to stop diarrhea and other drugs that help with the condition, and I took them for a few days.
Since replenishing fluids and electrolytes is generally considered important for treating enteritis, I thought it would be beneficial to drink warm barley tea upon returning home, so I brewed and drank it. I also ate plain white rice porridge for about two days. I figured it would be best to avoid spicy foods, flour-based foods, or foods that are difficult to digest during treatment, so I focused on soft foods like porridge and soft tofu. I think I recovered faster than expected because of this. It is also advisable to avoid fruits and vegetables during treatment, as their dietary fiber is difficult to digest. Above all, maintaining good hygiene is essential, and managing your immune system and overall physical condition is also crucial.
