Is it necessary to get vaccinated to prevent shingles from recurring?

Last year was so hot and stressful that I developed shingles in July, but I missed the treatment window by a long time, so I really suffered a lot.

I suffered a lot because of the severe pain and even sensory abnormalities.

Fortunately, I have improved a lot now, my sensation has returned to normal, and I have no pain, but I am very worried that it might recur.

I think I heard that shingles recurs once you get it. Do I really need to get vaccinated?
