I happened to participate in the Cover Seoul Sunscreen Challenge last March.
I received sunscreen and face oil~
Cover Seoul Sunscreen and Face Oil products arrived in packages as shown below~
Cover Seoul Bestian Sunscreen, especially the case, I really like it.
It is a non-comedogenic product that has also completed skin irritation testing.
So, I challenged myself again to use Cover Seoul Bestian Sun Cream in the May Challenge.
First, the challenge participation review!! I'm extremely satisfied~~
A sunscreen that tones up well and applies smoothly~
Just fixing this one thing and stepping out for a moment makes me look radiant~~
When I look at Cover Seoul Bestian Sun Cream, the ingredients are really good ingredients.
I took a look at the website once~
It is a mineral-based sunscreen with SPF 50+ and PA++++.
I've seen PA+++ before, but ++++? Haha
And everyone knows, right? The difference between inorganic and organic UV filters~
Let me explain the difference between inorganic and organic UV filters here.
Non-ionizing radiation physically blocks ultraviolet rays. You can think of it as covering the light with a curtain to block it.
The weapon substance has blocking effects against both UV-B and UV-A, which are short-range ultraviolet rays, forming a broad protective barrier on the skin surface that reflects or disperses ultraviolet rays.
Non-greasy sunscreen is used by people with sensitive skin or in environments with high exposure to ultraviolet rays, and it is especially effective in conditions where water is wet or when sweating heavily.
Non-comedogenic products contain ingredients that are absorbed into the skin as the main components, making them safe to use with minimal skin irritation.
The only drawback is that a whitish film appears on the surface of the skin.
Organic sunscreens chemically interact with the skin surface to absorb the energy of ultraviolet rays reaching the skin, thereby blocking ultraviolet radiation.
It contains many ingredients that absorb UVB rays, and while it has the advantage of not causing whitening compared to inorganic sunscreen ingredients, it can cause irritation to sensitive skin. The main ingredients of organic sunscreens include benzophenone and oxybenzone, and if these ingredients are listed at the front of the ingredient list, it is considered an organic sunscreen. They are well soluble in water or oil, making cleansing relatively easy, and they have high skin absorption rates, so they do not cause whitening. However, because they dissolve well in water, some compounds can contribute to environmental pollution.
So these days, I am switching all my sunscreen, including my children's, to mineral-based ones and boldly discarding organic-based sunscreens.. Most sunscreens that cause skin irritation are organic-based, I found.
Cover Seoul Bestian Sun Cream claims to have addressed the disadvantages of typical sunscreens~~
-
Primary skin irritation and hypoallergenic test completed
-
Skin soothing effect test completed due to ultraviolet stimulation
-
Potential threat components to marine ecosystems, additive-free
-
5 types of parabens, 23 types of allergens, no artificial colors, no fragrances
-
High Moisture, Soothing, Barrier Strengthening Bastian Complex
Somehow... just reading it gives me a feeling of trust.
Especially a sunscreen that considers marine ecosystems~~~
I can't believe I can use it without feeling sorry for the Earth—this is the best!
Looking at the main bottle of sunscreen, it has a clean white appearance~~
Does it feel like a specialized cream used by professionals or dermatologists?
I opened the sunscreen.
It was a slightly thick sunscreen, and when applied, it also provided a tone-up effect.
It was a very satisfying sunscreen that absorbed completely without any white cast.
Below are the photos of me participating in the challenge.
I have been applying that sunscreen and going to work every day throughout May until today~
Below is a comparison of the formulations of Cover Seoul Sunscreen and Reviheal Sunscreen.
The upper one is Cover Seoul Bestian Sun Cream, and you can notice that it has a slightly thicker texture compared to the sun cream below.
Reviheal Exosome Sunscreen has a slightly more watery feel and a hint of bluish tint.
The photo looks dark, so it's hard to compare properly after editing.
It definitely feels more toned and brighter after the initial application.
It feels like it covers a little, but it's not easy to hide blemishes with just sunscreen.. haha
I recorded a video to show how well it absorbs and tones up.
If you look, you'll really notice that it is absorbed throughout the entire skin in just a few applications.
You will be able to see the tone-up difference between the right hand and the wrong hand~~
Here are the advantages of Cover Seoul Bestian Sun Cream once again.
I have found a sunscreen that I really love, along with the Reviveel Exosome Sunscreen.
That concludes my participation and review of the Cover Seoul Bestian Sun Cream Challenge~
This review is based on the product I received after personally participating in the challenge and successfully completing it.
This is to inform you that a review has been written~
Below is the Cover Seoul homepage.
And they said they will also have a challenge in June~
