I went for my regular check-up at Hongik Hospital.

I went for my regular check-up at Hongik Hospital Cardiology Department 5. I've been going there for over 10 years, but the doctor has changed three times. Since December of last year, I have been seeing a doctor in Cardiology Department 5. She is a female doctor, and unlike before, she answers questions clearly and concisely.

Regular check-ups are for diagnosing dyslipidemia, that is, hyperlipidemia, and I go for consultation and prescription every six months.

This time, I inquired about my question directly.

Inquired about prescription medication statins, asked about health screening results, and discussed hemoglobin A1c and blood sugar levels.

My inquiry was about the recent side effects of statins and the uncertainty of other lab values, as well as whether statins raise blood sugar levels. The doctor asked if I had ever stopped cholesterol medication midway, and I said I had never stopped it before. However, since my blood sugar levels have recently been borderline high, he suggested stopping the medication for three months. If the levels do not improve, he said he would prescribe a statin that raises blood sugar less. He also mentioned rechecking my blood tests after three months and seeing how things go. I hope I can manage it well and get different results by September.I went for my regular check-up at Hongik Hospital.I went for my regular check-up at Hongik Hospital.I went for my regular check-up at Hongik Hospital.

상세한 설명에 큰 도움이 되고 종합병원으로 좋은 병원 같다는 생각이 듭니다. 감사합니다.
