[Tips to Lower Cholesterol] Eating snacks like sashimi instead of cookies has lowered my cholesterol levels.

I am currently in my 50s, and since my 30s when I was working, I have been advised to visit the hospital for health checkups because my cholesterol levels are high. During my 30s, while working, I drank a lot and worked hard, but I also exercised regularly, so I didn't pay much attention to it. Perhaps I was confident that I could maintain my health solely through exercise because I exercised a lot.

I underwent a comprehensive health check-up on November 19, 2020, and received the result that my total cholesterol level was 315, which is very high.

In November 2020, my mother was separated as a close contact of a COVID-19 patient, and I had to take care of her, so I quarantined myself for about three weeks. Although I couldn't exercise much, I usually walk close to 40,000 steps, but I couldn't understand why my cholesterol levels were in the danger zone.

The InBody results show that the weight is slightly below the normal weight, the skeletal muscle mass is high, and the body fat mass is significantly low, indicating a well-maintained body.

When I went to the hospital, I was advised on diet and exercise along with a prescription for hyperlipidemia medication.

People often say to lower cholesterol through diet control, exercise, and weight loss, but I was wondering how much more exercise I should do since my weight is already below the normal weight range.

One day, my friend who always scolded me for having health anxiety sent me a nut called "Sacha Inch."

I never exercised and was just a friend who always talked about how good something is, but it wasn't the commonly known nuts. However, I tried it and found it tasty, so I kept eating it.

The total cholesterol level is 196, which is still slightly high, but it has decreased to a normal range within the standard limit.

I want to recommend four-inch snacks to people with high cholesterol because I continued exercising without special diet control or medication, and when I felt bored or craving snacks, I ate four-inch snacks.
