아무래도 아픈 사람에게 위로를 선뜻 건내기가 ㄱ쉽지않긴 하죠ㅠㅠ
Actually, I had no knowledge about the disease called cataracts, but I have heard a lot about it over the past three months.
My senior in university, but I should say that his life has become complicated in many ways because he developed cataracts... I recently saw his face and found out. He's not even 30 yet, but he was diagnosed with cataracts. According to the doctor, even with consistent treatment, a complete cure is difficult, and it can be thought of as just alleviating the condition a bit. He said that during university, his leave of absence was not because he went to the military, but because he was receiving treatment for cataracts, and perhaps because of the cataract diagnosis, he went to the military as an active-duty soldier but was rejected twice at the training camp. Now, he is working full-time while commuting, serving in the military. After being diagnosed as an active-duty soldier, he went back and forth to training camp three times, which delayed his graduation as he extended his leave of absence as much as possible. Even now, he is still serving in the military, so he hasn't been able to find a proper job or workplace.
I can't say it's solely because of cataracts, but my drunk friend who says everything is all tangled up because of cataracts looks really unwell. Since I only recently heard the details, I want to comfort him a bit, but it's hard to bring it up easily. We plan to meet soon, but I don't know how to start the conversation.
