Diagnosed with left eye cataract. Currently undergoing left eye multifocal lens cataract surgery + right eye SMILE LASIK surgery.
I am in a situation where I received a proposal.
Currently, I am wearing glasses due to my myopia of -5 to -6 diopters.
I am still feeling anxious about LASIK and LASEK, and I am currently contemplating it.
Everyone at the hospital says it's a personal choice, but I think otherwise.
It seems that the only options for left eye cataract surgery and right eye LASIK or LASEK are limited. Is there any way to avoid having LASIK or LASEK surgery on the right eye?
At my liver hospital, they said that if only the left eye undergoes multifocal cataract surgery, the disparity between the eyes worsens significantly, making it impossible to wear glasses, and therefore right eye vision correction surgery (LASIK or LASEK) is unavoidable.
I'm 고민되네요 about what to do.
