Tips for maintaining healthy hearing

I have often seen posts in the community about concerns related to tinnitus and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). In fact, both conditions can occur due to various reasons, such as genetics, living environment, and lifestyle habits. However, the most common factor they share is a strong connection to overall health. If someone is under a lot of stress, has experienced a major incident at home, or has had a significant illness or injury, tinnitus and BPPV can develop. If tinnitus is temporary, that's good, but if it persists, it could be a sign of hearing loss, so it's important to undergo a hearing test and also work on boosting your immune system. Since BPPV can recur once it occurs, maintaining good health is crucial. Although these issues originate in the ear, you might wonder how they relate to overall health, but illnesses and pains in any part of the body are ultimately closely linked to stress and weakened immunity. For example, looking back at cases of sudden sensorineural hearing loss, many patients reported experiencing extreme stress at work, being scammed, or suffering from severe illnesses like shingles. In life, it's impossible to completely avoid stressful situations. However, simply making efforts to reduce stress levels can help prevent sudden illnesses like sudden hearing loss. Eating well, sleeping properly, taking time to forget all worries even briefly, and engaging in regular exercise are all essential.
