[Ask CashDoc] Has anyone recently had a plantar wart removed at the hospital?
I started running as a hobby in my late 20s, and as I walked and ran a lot, I frequently developed corns. Even after cryotherapy at the dermatology clinic, they would come back, and the recovery time was long, so I would remove them myself with corn bandages. In my mid-30s, I removed one myself, but it was painful, so I went to an orthopedic surgeon who tore it out with a scalpel and stitched it up, and I remember being unable to work for nearly two weeks.
I think I stopped running because of that aftermath.
Running again and fighting against blisters and corns.
It seems like there are no more blisters to form, but the corns continue to bother me. I have been using corn pads on my own, but I still need to remove three more today. The spots are a bit tricky to bandage, so I am considering going to the hospital. I have a long-standing distrust of hospital treatments from a very old memory, so I am hesitant. Recently, I am curious if they use new methods for removal and if I can continue running immediately after removal. I change my sneakers four times a day and take good care of my feet, so why do corns keep forming?
