Adenomyosis

I have adenomyosis and fibroids. As my period approaches, I experience excruciating menstrual pain that feels unbearable, so I wanted to have surgery. I went to a university hospital for treatment, and they told me that although the size is large, I might be able to tolerate it, and suggested that I consider a procedure instead of surgery. However, they also said that procedures have a high chance of recurrence, and that surgery would involve removing not only the fibroids but also the uterus due to adenomyosis. I was shocked by this. I hesitated and went back home, but one day I experienced severe pain and went to the hospital, where I was told that the fibroid had ruptured. I thought I was going to die. Since surgery is scary, they suggested trying an IUD, so I received that treatment. For a while, I was okay, but lately the pain has returned. I am really struggling with whether I should undergo surgery or endure the pain.
