[Question] I have been taking antihistamines for almost a year... Will I develop tolerance?
Since May 16th of last year, I suddenly developed skin rashes and hives on my lower body.
I've been alive for over 50 years, but I haven't had any skin allergies until now...ㅠㅠ
So, I didn't go to the hospital for about the first three weeks after the hives rash...
I wonder if I'll get better after some time...
I thought I would improve by eating only rice and kimchi, but skin rashes and hives continued to occur.
I have a hard time every night, so I received treatment at the dermatology clinic in front of my house.
Started taking antihistamines twice a day, in the morning and evening.
Taking two antihistamines and one antispasmodic tablet made the hives disappear as if by magic.
I've been taking it for about 11 months so far...
Sometimes, when I forget to take my medication or on very tired days, a very mild rash appears...
However, is it okay to continue taking this antihistamine without any issues?
The doctor said that resistance or anything like that doesn't develop...
I'm worried that resistance might develop and reduce the effectiveness of the medication...ㅠ
