Many positive reviews of non-surgical treatment for ingrown toenails
Hello, I am someone who suffered from ingrown toenails for quite some time. I tried trimming it short, using cotton underneath, and various folk remedies, but it was too painful and difficult, so I visited the hospital. They recommended laser excision or other methods, but fortunately, non-excisional treatment alone was sufficient and effective.

Ingrown toenails occur when the nail digs into the surrounding flesh, causing severe pain during walking, running, or daily activities. It can lead to inflammation as the nail penetrates the skin, and sometimes it becomes infected and looks quite unsightly.
Since I was 16, I have occasionally experienced pain from ingrown toenails, and I heard that pulling out the toenail once could significantly improve ingrown toenails, so I tried it and also checked if it was effective.
Ingrown toenails don't get better; they just hurt more and cut into the flesh as they grow longer, so it becomes difficult, haha.
When I visited the hospital, I learned that there is a method of surgery using laser excision, but they also said that even without removing the ingrown toenail, many cases can improve significantly with simple procedures. I was thinking about what would be the best way to improve, and I found that excision might be more effective than I initially thought.
Since you said you're in a lot of pain, I was worried haha. Is the non-surgical method to attach something under the toenail to prevent the ingrown toenail from digging into the flesh?
There are also procedures aimed at fixing toenails using shape memory alloys.
I was recommended to undergo a partial amputation surgery, so I did, and I installed an alloy nail on my toenail, which made the procedure simpler than I expected.
I don't think it was very painful, and since the nail was pulled up with a clamp for a while, I don't think it was very painful haha
After removing it, I definitely felt better because the sensation of the flesh sinking in was less, and maybe because I learned management methods and tips, it was very helpful.
