Union ENT Clinic is originally known to have changed or merged from Jeon Byung-do ENT Clinic, which was famous in Isu Station.

It was an ENT clinic I have been going to for over 30 years since I was young.

One day, I thought the doctor had retired because he was too old since he disappeared.

It turns out that you only see patients a few days a week at Seoul Union ENT Clinic.

Oh, but I scheduled my visit on the wrong day, so I ended up seeing Dr. Lee Eui-seok, another doctor, several times.

She is quite elderly, but very kind and provides excellent medical care.

It may not look very spacious just from the entrance, but it is a very comfortable and large hospital.

When I get tired, I hear a strange crackling sound as if bugs are crawling in my ears, so I visited, but fortunately there was no problem.

I will share the information I learned about hearing aid support.

If you are not registered as hearing impaired, you need to go through the registration process.

First, you need to visit an otolaryngology clinic that can perform pure tone audiometry and ABR tests. You will need to undergo a total of three pure tone audiometry tests and one ABR test. If the test results show that the minimum hearing level in both ears is 60dB or higher, or if one ear has 80dB or more and the other ear has 40dB or more, you will be eligible for disability registration.

And in order to prove that hearing loss has become fixed, you need to have medical records spanning more than six months.

My mother doesn't quite fit either case, just a little.

Hearing aids, unlike implants, only qualify for support if there is a hearing impairment, not just based on age.

Actually, it's been a little over a year since I received this treatment, and lately I haven't been hearing well, so I think I should visit again soon and get another examination.

I am worried because although hearing aids amplify sounds to help us hear better, when I try using them, all everyday noises sound amplified and uncomfortable.
