Will my son's corneal opacity recurrence happen again?

My son developed corneal opacity around June last year, and after visiting a hospital, we were advised to go to a university hospital, so he is currently receiving treatment at Severance. Now, he goes once every six months, and I am wondering if recurrences are common.
