This is a review of treatment for a protruding skin cyst.

I frequently developed skin cysts (sebaceous cysts). At first, I didn't know what the protruding skin was and just left it untreated.

So, here is my review of skin cyst treatment after visiting the hospital.

Unlike usual, it wasn't acne and no matter how much I squeezed, nothing came out, which was frustrating and strange. When I just touched the small cyst, it only got bigger. Feeling frustrated, I went to a dermatologist. The dermatologist said I needed treatment for the skin cyst and advised me to go to a university hospital or a large hospital.

At first, I wondered if I really needed to go all the way to a university hospital just for skin cyst treatment, and I thought about leaving it alone. Leaving it alone wouldn't cause any problems, but it looked uncomfortable and subtly bothered me, so I decided to visit a university hospital for skin cyst treatment. I thought that since skin cysts develop as the sebaceous glands in the skin layer become blocked, removing them early through surgery could be a good option. Skin cysts are said to be benign tumors caused by the epithelial cells of the sebaceous glands entering the subcutaneous fat of the dermis. Therefore, neglecting them could worsen the condition and cause discomfort, making the timing of treatment important. It is a disease where dead skin cells or skin debris cannot fall off and accumulate within the epidermis, forming a pocket-like structure.

Skin cysts do not disappear naturally and can continue to grow as waste accumulates inside. In fact, the visible part may be small, but the tumor inside the skin can be large. Therefore, I thought treatment for skin cysts was necessary.

Especially the facial area can lead to complexes, so it should be removed quickly. After removal, disinfect for two weeks and be sure to use a waterproof bandage. Seeing it heal nicely and neatly was very satisfying.
