I have bad eyesight. They say my nearsightedness isn't too severe, but my astigmatism is pretty bad. So honestly, I don't think my vision even corrects to 20/20 with glasses or contacts. That's why I decided to get LASIK and went for an examination. The waiting room at Gangnam Brand Eye Clinic was really spacious. It's actually the largest ophthalmology clinic I've visited. After the machine tests, a staff member guided me to a room for the vision test. They were very kind while conducting the vision test. After finishing a few checks, they put dilating drops in my eyes. I learned that the dilating drops help widen the pupils. Even after putting in the drops, they continued with more tests. Once all the tests were done, I waited in front of the consultation room. When it's my turn, I go in to hear the doctor's friendly explanations. After my consultation with the doctor who will perform my surgery, I talked with another staff member to schedule the surgery date. They had someone else in charge of that. After the tests, my eyes felt really bright and irritated, but fortunately, the fluorescent lights were a bit easier on my eyes. The sunlight was honestly unbearable. It’s essential to wear sunglasses and a hat when going for the tests. I didn’t take them and struggled quite a bit.
