Singer Park Bo-ram, cause of death revealed.. National Forensic Service "estimated acute alcohol poisoning"

[Star Daily News=Reporter Cheon Seol-hwa] The final autopsy results from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (NISI) indicate that the cause of death of singer Park Bo-ram (30), who suddenly passed away last month, is suspected to be acute alcohol poisoning.

According to the Namyangju Southern Police Station on the 23rd, the police recently received the final autopsy report from the National Forensic Service indicating that '(Park Boram) is suspected to have died from acute alcohol poisoning.'

At the time of death, Park Bo-ram was confirmed to have had poor health due to illnesses such as caregiving-related issues and fatty liver disease, but no other suspected causes of death besides acute alcohol poisoning were found.

'Acute alcohol intoxication' refers to sudden physical and psychological abnormal reactions caused by consuming a large amount of alcohol in a short period of time, also known as alcohol poisoning or intoxication. When blood alcohol concentration reaches a lethal level, it can lead to coma or death.

Ms. Park Boram is known to have collapsed and died while drinking with two female acquaintances at a friend's residence in Namyangju City around 9:55 PM on the 11th of last month.

Ms. Park Bo-ram gained popularity by appearing on the 2010 Mnet TV audition program 'Superstar K 2,' where she made it to the 'Final 11.' She officially debuted in 2014 with the song 'Yebbeojyeotda' and has been consistently active. Last month, on the 3rd, she released a new song titled 'Bogoshipda Beolsseo.'
