Sharing my experience of receiving medication treatment at the hospital for CRPS symptoms
Some of you may be hearing about CRPS for the first time. CRPS is a disease called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, and I received long-term treatment for this disease a long time ago. I am now in a much better state of recovery. I hope my treatment experience will be helpful to patients suffering from CRPS.
CRPS might be a new term for some of you, referring to Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I have undergone long-term treatment for this disease in the past, and I am now in a much better state of recovery. I hope my treatment experience can be helpful to fellow patients who are struggling with CRPS.
CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) is a rare disease characterized by severe pain. It is a symptom caused by abnormalities in the sympathetic nervous system, mainly occurring in the arms and legs. It initially started with minor trauma, but the pain worsened over time, possibly due to nerve damage. Surgery showed no abnormalities despite thorough examinations, and treatment was provided by the pain medicine department. CRPS patients feel pain even from just a breeze or a passing thread. Due to the nature of the syndrome, which has no clear cause or definitive cure, it is a challenging disease for both body and mind. In retrospect, the pain was so intense that I hardly remember the details of that time. One thing is certain: early treatment is essential. Since it involves the nervous system, the more nerve damage occurs, the slower the recovery. Complete cure of CRPS may be difficult, but actively managing the pain is advisable.
