GS25 releases visible rice balls topped with cheese, excluding kimchi

GS25 convenience store has replaced the seaweed in traditional triangular gimbap with toppings (garnishes) on the filling.

 

They announced on the 9th that they have released "see-through rice balls."

 

Mozzarella cheese, which was not commonly used as an ingredient in traditional triangular rice balls, was used.

 

Mozzarella cheese needs to be heated in the microwave for a long time to preserve its unique texture.

 

GS25 explained that if a triangular rice ball is heated for too long, the seaweed becomes soggy and it becomes difficult to use together.

 

 

 

To celebrate the launch, from the 10th to the 16th, customers who purchase Kongchi's rice balls will receive a 200ml Seoul Milk as a gift.
