(Helpful Tip) I suffered less with folk remedies during acute toothache.
Today, I experienced severe pain due to acute toothache.
I am going to introduce some folk remedies.
First of all, the causes of toothache are very diverse. It could be due to tooth decay or touching the nerve area. In my case, the pain was a dull, throbbing ache that was so severe I couldn't sleep.
Those who have experienced it will know.
When the pain is this severe, I really feel like doing anything to get rid of it.
First of all, it is salt, which everyone knew.
Starting with traditional salt toothpaste, in the past, people even used this coarse salt as a substitute for toothpaste in bathhouses. However, there was a misunderstanding: rubbing coarse salt on teeth and gums can definitely cause damage.
The proper way to use it is to dissolve it in water and gargle with salt water. Also, if it becomes too salty, it may not be good for your health, so it's better to use an appropriate amount.
The second part I will explain is ice. In particular, I can say that it was the first element that showed surprisingly effective results in folk remedies for toothache.
It would be good to think of it as relieving pain by achieving a kind of anesthesia effect with ice.
So ultimately, although healthcare was a somewhat distant approach, it was also the most effective method in the short term.
Nevertheless, because it could temporarily reduce the pain of the affected area, it has been used for a long time and is one of the common methods.
The third method involves using eggplant, which might be somewhat unfamiliar. I wondered how exactly this eggplant could be helpful and whether it would be difficult to use despite its shiny appearance. However, inside, there is soft, tender flesh. By cutting this part and shaping it like gauze to gently rub the affected area, it is said to be effective. I haven't tried it myself yet, but it seems to work well, and since it's a readily accessible method, I always keep it in mind.
The fourth part I will explain is the method using the most delicious radish in winter. Instead of cutting it into pieces like a branch, the key is to make a juice that has a spicy aroma and flavor.
It is said that this spicy ingredient contains components that can provide sufficient relief as a folk remedy for toothache. The usage method is also simple.
After soaking the juice in gauze or a towel, gently rub it onto the affected area. It was easy to apply and also easy for anyone to make, so honestly, I think it's one of the things I wanted to explain the most.
