I'm wondering if I really need surgery for my uterine fibroids.

During the health checkup, a diagnosis of uterine fibroids was made through ultrasound examination, and they say it is gradually growing.

Actually, I am currently menopausal and have no specific symptoms related to uterine fibroids, so I haven't had surgery yet.

Women going through menopause are said not to experience significant growth of uterine fibroids, so I wonder if it's okay not to have surgery.

    저도 젊을 때, 근종있어서 서울대출신 의사한테 갔더니 하혈을 하지않는한 수술 안해도 된대요. 폐경되면 작아지기도 하고요. 난 8센티까지 커진때도 있었는데 아직까지 폐경됐지만 칼 안댔어요. 수술을 하면 좋을건 없어요.

    크게 자라지않는다면 꼭 수술할필요가 있을까싶은데요
특별한 증상없으면 괜찮지않을까 싶은데 혹시 모르니 정검은 해보세요

    근종이 커지면 수술을 해야 하는거로 알고 있는데
정말 수술이 꼭 필요할때는 의사가 수술하셔야한다 말해주더라구요 ㅠ

    수술 여부는 의사와 상담하시는게 젤 좋은거 같아요
요새는 수술을 막 권하지는 않는거 같더라구요

    의사가 권할때만 하면 되던데요
근데 요즘은 수술을 적극 권하진 않더라구요

    근종이 커지기도 하고 작아진다고도 하더라구요. 많이 커지게 되면 수술을 권하겠지만 별다른 통증도 
없고 괜찮은거라면 굳이 안하셔도 될 것 같아요.
