For a while, my weight kept increasing and my clothes started to not fit me anymore. It really piled on when I developed the habit of eating late-night snacks after work. I tried to lose weight on my own, but kept failing, which made me lose motivation over time. Every time I looked in the mirror, I felt stressed and comparing myself to old photos just made me feel more depressed. I thought I needed to do something, so I began diet management at Rohasel Korean Medicine Clinic in Gangnam. I had some concerns about traditional medicine since I had tried it in the past, but I found it more bearable because it came in capsule form. To be honest, I was skeptical for the first few days, but surprisingly, I felt my appetite gradually getting under control. I usually had a pattern of collapsing from hunger every evening, but as that decreased, I naturally started to eat less. After a week or two, I could feel my body getting lighter, and most importantly, as the swelling subsided, my lines started to look different. It used to be normal for my face to be puffy every morning, but I was really satisfied to see that it decreased. What surprised me most was the reactions from those around me. Hearing comments like, “You look like you’ve lost weight” motivated me even more, and as my clothing fit better, my confidence went up too. Of course, I was mindful of my diet to some extent, but I felt much more at ease managing it compared to when I was doing it alone, which made it easier to keep going consistently. It wasn’t a strict diet where you just have to endure; instead, it felt like it helped me find my rhythm, which made me personally very satisfied. I think it's a method worth considering for those who have struggled with appetite control and faced repeated failures.
