아프셨을 것 같은데 눈도 뚜렷해 보이고 수술 잘되신거 같으세요. 오래전에 제 친구도 그 병원해서 쌍커풀 수술 했는데 자연스럽게 잘 됐더라구요.
Review of upper and lower eyelid surgery at Sinsa Station BK Plastic Surgery (My own money, my own surgery~ lol) - Warning: Disturbing photos!!
I finally decided to undergo the plastic surgery I had been contemplating for years.
The thick double eyelid that I used to have suddenly disappeared one day, and my eyes became uneven, and since the year before last, my eyelids have been sagging severely...
When I try to widen my eyes, only my eyebrows lift, causing deep horizontal wrinkles to form across my forehead.
Every time I meet someone, I tell them whether I'm tired or sleepy, and it was really more than just a little stress.
Nevertheless, I truly thought I was a complete coward and would never be able to undergo surgery.
Last year, as a last resort, I also got eyebrow tattooing and eyeliner tattooing, but my eyelids are drooping more than I thought, so you can't really tell;;
In the end, I went to the hospital recommended by a friend last summer, received a consultation, and made the reservation right there.
Last August, I went and made a reservation~~ This is BK Plastic Surgery located near Sinsa Station. The lobby and consultation room.
Just in case your mind changes, you can make a reservation deposit of only 50,000 won, even though you can't get a refund, but I bet 300,000 won!!
I motivated myself to move forward~
I originally only planned to get double eyelid surgery, but of course, when I consult with the hospital's consultation manager or the director... things don't go exactly as planned. I end up pinpointing my facial issues and being told I need to do this and that, and I easily agree, including upper eyelid/ lower eyelid surgery, fat repositioning, and eye shape correction;;;; It's overwhelming.
I never thought the day would come when someone would hold a knife to my eye... Anyway, I scheduled the surgery for winter...
Gently~ I released my friends and saved up for ZeroPay... I still feel a bit regretful that I didn't buy it when it was 10% off before, but since it's a surgery that costs a lot of money, even 7% seems like nothing~~
The long-awaited day has arrived.
January 10, 2024
Visited at 2 o'clock, washed my face, changed into patient gown, and took a final, somewhat pathetic photo before the cut.
My eyelids are drooping at the corners... My inner double eyelid has completely disappeared~~
Wow!! I really look pitiful in this shot;;;; I didn't want to show you, but...
I went into the operating room, and there were three other people helping besides the director...
The injection to help you relax is being administered~ but I wonder if I fell asleep...
When I woke up, the surgery was almost finished. I think I mumbled some random things like, "What did I say? Did the director come?" or something similar.
Some people even felt the sound and sensation of flesh being cut away with a scratching noise;;;
There is nothing in my memory.
The surgery took almost about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
I was moved to the recovery room and had a cold compress applied to my eye, and I really felt like my eye was freezing and getting frostbite.
My friend said they were taking a picture, so I happily made a V sign again lol
Anyway, I was lying in the recovery room for a little over two hours and then went home!!
I was trying to go home confidently wearing my hat and sunglasses, but without my glasses, I was practically blind, and the sunglasses wouldn't stay on my nose... So I just kept my glasses on (they kept slipping down because they were swollen). I took the subway and went home. (Fortunately, my friend was with me, so I felt less embarrassed.)
I felt a slight dizziness and could only see about 40% of my vision (there was swelling, and I think I applied ointment), which was uncomfortable, but when I got home and took a picture... it was quite a spectacle.
Swollen like a sausage and bruised... (no pain, but feels uncomfortable)
These are the first and second days;;;; The world is scary;;;; I heard there are people who bleed, but luckily I didn't see any blood~~~
It's a disgusting meme;;;;;
The next day, I went and removed the bandage with an X on it, disinfected the area, and then put a new bandage underneath...
Since then, I have been recording each day...
Cold compress and about 30 minutes of walking a day
Walking around so that no one knows who I am~~
There is a playground right behind the house, so I covered myself with a hat and mask and walked a little every day without worrying about bumping into people.
Can't even wash my hair;;; can't even wash my face...... dirty girl..........
If I apply ointment to the stitches, it keeps seeping in, and my eyes have been foggy for about a week... I was so worried that I might go blind from this.
I'm so bored I could die, and I can't even read books~ I can't watch YouTube either;;; It was really a boring week.
They say to keep the eyes higher than the heart, so I raised the pillow high, even though I dislike sleeping with it elevated.
I listened to a few novels read aloud on YouTube. Thanks to that, I discovered some interesting books.
Tonight, even if this love disappears from the world... I listened to it very enjoyably and ended up borrowing and reading it all.
The bruises are gradually getting better day by day. I also took a picture of the last stitches before removing the stitches~~
Anyway, it's been a week, and it seems like there's still a lot of swelling left, but I heard I should have the stitches removed.
I removed the stitches at 10 a.m. on January 17th!!
Wow, the surgery didn't hurt at all, but getting the stitches removed was incredibly painful. Tears were streaming down.........
It's too late to remove it now, and it might cause scarring...
I waited patiently to have my stitches removed and on the way home, I bought a Newbin to try, thinking it might help reduce swelling, but I really couldn't tell at all.
Anyway, I arrived at the hospital and had my stitches removed again... Wow, after removing the stitches, I really feel like my vision has become much clearer...
It seems my eyes have definitely become larger.. Now I am fighting symptoms of dryness and stiffness in my eyes.
Today marks exactly the second week since the surgery... I finally went back to work today.
There are still some dark circles or slight bruises under my eyes, and the swelling hasn't gone down much yet.
Still, every time I meet someone, they tell me that I'm glad I had the surgery and that my line looks nice, which gives me great comfort.
Now, these are photos of each day after removing the stitches.
There's still some bruising around my eyes and some swelling remaining... haha
Swelling hasn't gone down as quickly as others, so it still looks quite obvious that I had surgery...
It will look more natural once the swelling goes down more, right???
Still, I think going to work is less tiring for my eyes than just staying at home~
Anyway, I'm somewhat satisfied... It gives me the courage to try something else next time, even if it's just a little...
Doing it again is so scary~~~
How is it? Do you think having the surgery was a good decision?
