I was told I needed six implants, and at first, I was really scared. Since I had multiple teeth that needed work, I couldn't make a decision right away and visited several dental clinics for examinations. After much consideration, I'm receiving treatment from Dr. Kim Tae-kyung at Cheongchun Thebom Dental Clinic. What I was most worried about was the pain. Since there were multiple implants, I was really anxious even before the treatment. However, they did such a thorough job with the anesthesia that I experienced almost no pain during the procedure, which was a relief. It might be an exaggeration to say I felt nothing at all, but it was definitely much more comfortable than I had feared. They explained that they would be using Osstem implants and provided detailed information about the treatment process and how to manage them going forward. The nurses also made sure to check on important points one by one and frequently asked if I was experiencing any discomfort, which I appreciated. Since my workplace is in Hongcheon, I have to travel to Chuncheon, but it’s convenient because they offer evening appointments, allowing me to visit after work. I also tend to stress about parking while driving, but it wasn't difficult to find parking, which made the visits easier.

As a working person, going to the dentist during the day on weekdays turned out to be more difficult than I expected. During the consultation, I learned why the front teeth implant is a critical area, and why the placement and post-care are important. I also heard that it would be done with an Osstem implant. Understanding how the treatment would progress based on my condition, rather than just feeling reassured by the name of the material, really helped me grasp the whole process. During the treatment, I was under anesthesia, so the pain wasn’t as bad as I had imagined. However, after the procedure, since it was my front teeth, I had to be careful while eating for a while and sometimes felt overly self-conscious when speaking or smiling. This part took a little time to get used to. Now that the treatment is complete, I’m not experiencing as much inconvenience in my daily life as I initially worried I would. From the perspective of someone who was postponing dental treatment due to work commitments, being able to go on schedule and finish the treatment was quite practically reassuring.
