The doctor did a beautiful job, and even though I had a hump on my nose, after filling the bridge, you can't even tell it was there. I'm thrilled! I had always thought about getting fillers for my nasolabial folds but never tried it until now. I thought it would be great to do both at the same time, and I'm so satisfied with the results! The results showed that these smile lines are caused by the loss of volume in my face due to aging, and I was advised that fillers would be a more effective method than lasers to add volume. Since my wrinkles are quite noticeable, we planned to use a total of about 1cc of filler, divided between both sides. Before the procedure, they applied a numbing cream and I waited for about 20 minutes before the treatment. The actual injection time for the filler was only about 5 minutes, which was quite quick. I felt almost no pain, just a slight sting, so it wasn't a big deal. Right after the treatment, there was a bit of swelling, but when I looked in the mirror, I could immediately see that the deeply etched smile lines had smoothed out. After 2-3 days, as the swelling subsided, the wrinkles softened naturally, and I looked much less tired. It felt definitely improved without being overly obvious, so I was very satisfied.
