Positive Aspects The facility is very clean and luxurious. The reception area, consultation room, X-ray room, and treatment rooms are all well-separated, which I appreciated. It might seem like the flow is back and forth, but it felt like everything was progressing smoothly. It was also fascinating to see the researchers working behind the glass. I didn't have to wait much, so it felt like I was receiving treatment in a research lab. Somehow, I ended up getting the treatment and making the payment. The explanations were thorough, and the staff were kind, addressing any issues and encouraging me to ask more questions. I was there for my second orthodontic treatment, primarily considering clear aligners or just fixing my front teeth based on an event I saw. However, after the X-ray and consultation, I found out that my condition wasn't great. They weren't pushing for unnecessary treatments; the detailed explanations were all accurate. Negative Aspects I went thinking the event was for clear aligners at 60, but after the consultation, I learned that the quoted price was only for one arch (either upper or lower) based on a three-month period... I was slightly taken aback by the unexpected duration, cost, and treatment period discussed during the consultation. However, I believe that coming to Lucent for this treatment was a good choice.

Honestly, I rarely leave one-star reviews, but I just came back from my child's appointment and I'm so angry that I felt the need to write one. The doctor initially suggested starting braces with a plastic device instead of the usual metal wire, so we began treatment with that. However, after a few months, I went for a checkup at our original dentist, who asked if we were still doing orthodontics. I said yes, but they then told me that I actually need to start with metal wire now... Right now, thanks to the retainer, the teeth might look straighter, but they mentioned that this device is pushing against the molars and is affecting the molars that haven't even come in yet... 😭 I trusted that orthodontic clinic to start treatment there, but hearing that made me really upset. I had faith in them, but it made me angry... And I also saw in the X-ray that my molars looked completely different compared to before treatment. Before we started, they were standing straight, and now they’ve tilted diagonally after just a few months of treatment... Oh my god 🥲 It’s not a cheap process; I spent almost 6 million won to start this... So I stopped the treatment... They said that at this point, they need to cut and take out the molars... Oh my god, I went there thinking it was a professional clinic, but I'm really shocked... I don’t think I’ll ever go back to this clinic again...

Since it's an appointment-based system, I almost always get treated on time when I visit. I believe dental treatment should be stress-free and not too painful, and it should be perfect, and in that regard, I am very satisfied.

The interior of the clinic is clean and well-maintained, giving me peace of mind, and I got the impression that this is a dentist that provides honest care without over-treatment. It's a great place to get regular check-ups, so I plan to keep visiting.
