I visited because my teeth were in bad shape, and after getting an X-ray, it turned out several teeth were not in good condition, so I decided to go for extraction and root canal treatment. I was treated by Dr. Jeong Ui-seok. I had the extractions done one by one, a week apart, and it didn't hurt at all. I'm currently getting the root canal treatment every 3 to 4 days, and there has been no pain whatsoever. My teeth had been in bad shape for quite a while, but I thought I could manage, and I kept putting off the visit. Eventually, I felt I could not avoid it anymore, and when I got the X-ray, I found out that the bad teeth were affecting the adjacent ones, which led to me having to extract quite a lot. I really regret not coming to the hospital sooner, not knowing it would turn out like this. I will continue to get the remaining treatments and focus a lot more on maintaining my dental health moving forward.

I was really worried about a part of my teeth that was slightly overlapping, so I decided to visit the dentist for an orthodontic consultation. After registering, they checked my teeth alignment with an oral scan and took panoramic and side X-rays. Then, the doctor showed me my current condition on the screen and explained the issues of lack of space and bite problems, and we made a plan to organize my teeth without extractions. Before attaching the braces, I had my teeth cleaned through scaling, and then they attached brackets to each tooth and connected the wires. It was a little uncomfortable to keep my mouth open for a long time, but they checked my status frequently, so it went smoothly. Right after the braces were attached, I felt a tightness in my teeth, especially my front teeth felt sensitive. In the first few days, I avoided hard foods and mostly ate porridge or soft meals to adjust. When brushing, I used an orthodontic toothbrush and an interdental brush along with my regular toothbrush, being careful to clean out any food particles. The clinic provided specific instructions on when and how to use rubber bands and how to care for the area around the braces, which made it easier for me to manage on my own. I go in once a month to replace the wires and adjust the tension. On adjustment days, I felt a little soreness for about a day, but it was less painful than before. As the months passed, I could visibly see the overlapping parts gradually aligning, and I noticed that the spacing between my teeth was balancing out. Although the orthodontic process is still ongoing, experiencing it firsthand made me realize that regular visits and care have a significant impact on the results, and I felt that having an accurate examination and planning at the beginning is crucial.
