A place in Jeonju that doesn't over-treat!! I recommend Su-kyung Dermatology :)

While looking for a good dermatologist in Jeonju due to my melasma, I found Seoshindong Sugyung Dermatology. The doctor explained everything I was curious about in detail and had a nice demeanor. Additionally, all the nurses were very kind, and maybe because they are dermatologists, they were quite beautiful too~ Thank you ^^

I came here because it's famous in Jeonju, and it seems pretty good. I think I need to come back more.

I just had cryotherapy for my warts. I found out this is the only place near Seosin-dong in Jeonju that does cryotherapy. I was treated by Dr. Su-kyung, and she said it should be finished in about 1-2 more sessions, so I feel hopeful.~^^

The staff is kind and they have a special management team, which is really impressive. I don't live in Jeonju, so I haven't been able to come back for two years, but I noticed new devices that weren't there before, and everything has improved. I'm planning to come back for treatments again next time.

Both are kind and meticulous in their examinations. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that the waiting time for examinations is too long.

What’s on my face is indeed acne, and since it’s old, it had formed nodules, so I received injection treatment. What was on my body was a fibroma, which I had removed. It was nice that I could get disinfected and have my stitches taken out in between after the surgery. It is always a busy clinic. I guess that’s because it’s a well-known dermatology clinic in Jeonju~ It took two weeks from the removal to getting the stitches taken out, and during that time, I took the medication given by the clinic and applied the topical medication that was covered by my insurance. I had previously removed something similar on another area, so I came back for a follow-up.

I suddenly developed an unexplained rash on my face and struggled with it for about a week. I went to a nearby hospital and tried some medication, but there was no improvement. So I looked for a better dermatology clinic and found that Sukyung Dermatology is the best in Jeonju for skin conditions, so I decided to go there. That's probably why there were so many patients. The wait time was long, but I think they really helped identify the cause of my issue. Instead of just trying to solve everything with medication, they also looked into correcting my lifestyle habits and tried to address the root causes from multiple angles. Although the wait was long, it felt like a worthwhile experience. However, the lead doctor has limited days for outpatient appointments and there are many patients, so the waiting can be quite significant... I think it's better to arrive early.

I visited Jeonju Sugyeong Dermatology again for my ingrown toenail. I thought it would be busy, so I arrived early in the morning, but there were still a lot of patients, and I ended up waiting about an hour to see the doctor. I consulted with Dr. Sugyeong, and she said my ingrown toenail wasn’t healing well and recommended surgery. I was too scared because I thought it would hurt too much, so I told her I would think about it a bit more.ㅠㅠ The surgery involves cutting the toenail on my big toe, and she mentioned it might be a bit painful. She explained everything very kindly, and I received a prescription for topical medication first. I hope to consistently apply the medication at home and do warm foot baths so it doesn’t get worse. I really hope I won’t have to undergo ingrown toenail surgery. Sigh.

A few days after applying the medication, the itching greatly eased, and the redness gradually settled down.
