I’ve been coming here since my first child was little for vaccinations and check-ups. And I've continued to come here even after my second child was born. This pediatric clinic is amazing. The doctor always checks everything thoroughly and worries with us when the kids are sick. They know how to check from head to toe, including the skin, so any health issues with the kids are taken care of here. My kids refuse to go to any other hospital; they get excited when I say we’re coming here, haha. The parking is convenient, and the pharmacy on the first floor is great— the pharmacist prepares the medication really quickly, which is awesome. I even recommend it to my friends around me; my friend who lives in Yongin comes here on weekends for consultations too. The waiting area is comfortable, and it’s a pediatric clinic that you can easily pop into.

I visited the pediatric clinic at night because of persistent coughing. The cough seemed to worsen while lying down, and I also had a runny nose. After registering, they measured my temperature and oxygen saturation, and informed me that my vital signs were stable. In the examination room, they checked the onset of symptoms, the highest fever, the nature of the cough (whether it was dry or accompanied by phlegm), and if symptoms worsened at dawn. They also asked about any recent infection cases at the daycare. After that, they listened to my lungs to check for abnormal lung sounds and wheezing, explaining that there was no chest retraction observed during breathing. Upon examining my throat, they noted some redness, but no tonsillar exudate or severe swelling was visible. Currently, there are no significant indications to suspect bronchitis or pneumonia, and it was determined that there is a high possibility of post-nasal drip and nighttime coughing due to an upper respiratory infection. They said that antibiotics weren't necessary and recommended treatment focused on alleviating symptoms. The medication was prescribed based on weight, and they gave specific guidance on the intervals for taking antihistamines and cough suppressants. If my cough got worse at night, they advised balancing it with fluid intake and indoor humidity control, and to return if I experienced breathing difficulties or persistent fever over 38 degrees Celsius. Overall, it was an examination based on the history and auscultation findings, deciding to observe the progress.
