Every time I visit, I feel that the doctor's calm voice and thorough care provide genuine medical attention that comforts the patient’s heart, giving me a sense of comfort and faith that I will recover quickly. I think this is the biggest strength of the hospital. Take care, doctor~~♡

I came in on Monday with a high fever over 39 degrees. I was tested for the flu and received a negative result. I was prescribed vitamin IV therapy and oral medication for 3 days, but afterwards I had a terrible headache and kept having a runny nose and cough, so I returned to the clinic. Dr. Kim Ji-hoon told me that since my fever had gone down, the flu test was no longer meaningful, and he prescribed me new medication based on my current symptoms. If I had done the flu test when I had a high fever for about two days, I think I would have tested positive for the flu... It seems like I got a negative result because I tested a bit too early. The vitamin IV therapy isn’t covered by insurance, so I had to pay out of pocket for that.ㅠ If it had been the flu, it would have been covered. I regret not getting tested a day later. I've decided to take my time with the flu test from now on. I need to remember that while treatment is covered, the vitamins were out of pocket.

I was feeling feverish and definitely couldn't take it anymore, so I visited Saint Mary’s Internal Medicine. As soon as I walked in, they checked my temperature and started asking detailed questions about my symptoms to figure out if it was just a cold or the flu, which made me trust them. I was experiencing severe muscle aches and chills, so just to be safe, I took a flu test and thankfully it came back negative. I was diagnosed with a cold. Overall, the care at Saint Mary’s Internal Medicine was quick, yet they didn’t miss any important details, so I didn’t feel frustrated. The prescription included basic medications like fever reducers, cold medicine, and cough syrup. My symptoms were pretty bad, so I also received IV treatment, which definitely had a positive effect. After the treatment, I felt lighter and noticed my recovery starting fairly quickly. However, during peak hours when there are a lot of patients, there can be a bit of a wait, so if you’re not feeling well, it’s much easier to go early in the morning.

Recently, my cold symptoms worsened, so I went to the local clinic. At first, I only had nasal congestion and a headache, but after a few days, my throat became sore and I developed a mild fever, so I realized rest alone wouldn't cut it. When I arrived at the hospital, there were more waiting patients than I expected, and I had to wait a bit longer, but the registration process was organized, so it wasn't too inconvenient. When I went in for the consultation, the doctor asked detailed questions about the progress of my symptoms and checked for recent flu or COVID-19 outbreaks. Just in case, they also did a rapid antigen test, and fortunately, the result was negative. The prescription included fever reducers, antihistamines, and cough medication, along with advice to drink plenty of water and rest warmly. I thought it was better to get an accurate diagnosis from the hospital than to hold off thinking it's annoying. After taking the medication and resting well today, I definitely feel like my condition has improved a bit. I recommend not to underestimate a cold, and if symptoms persist, definitely visit a hospital.

I received a positive diagnosis for Helicobacter pylori earlier and it caused me a lot of stress, but after treatment, I finally got a 'negative' result! Haha. When I first heard I was positive, I felt lost and had a lot of worries. I diligently took the prescribed medication and spent each day anxious, wondering if it would come back. Waiting for the results with the retest kit felt like it took forever. However, I'm really relieved and happy to hear that the treatment went well and the bacteria has been completely eradicated. Going forward, I’m determined to pay more attention to my health and live a more regular lifestyle. If there are any of you who are about to undergo Helicobacter pylori treatment, don’t worry too much; it’s simple! Just breathe into the plastic part of the test kit and hand the collected sample to the nurse, and it’s all done in 5 minutes!

As a Korean resident in New Zealand and over 65 years old, I hold dual citizenship. I have diabetes and hyperlipidemia, for which I take medication. In the past 2 and 4 years, I had colonoscopy exams that found 2 and 4 polyps respectively, which were all negative upon biopsy. I recently had an exam with Dr. Kim Hye-young at Seoul Kwon & Kim Clinic. My diabetes and hyperlipidemia levels are slightly above the norm, but I was told that with dietary control and exercise, things would improve. I had 7 polyps removed this time, and the biopsy results showed that 6 were fine, but 1 was diagnosed as an adenoma, recommending that I undergo another colonoscopy in 1-2 years. I was very satisfied with the detailed explanation from the doctor and the kindness of the hospital staff.

I was in pain over the weekend, so I visited once and then came back. I visited due to flu symptoms and got a flu test, which came back negative, so I just got some medication. The next day, I had a fever again and went back for another visit. I had muscle pain and fever, so I returned for flu symptoms. They took good care of me without over-treating. I wanted to get another flu test, but since I had one over the weekend and was already on medication, they didn't do another test. There were a lot of people waiting, so I had to wait a long time, and it's hard to find the internal medicine department; the hospital feels like a maze. The parking lot is small, making it difficult to park. Also, there’s only one pharmacy nearby, so if it’s closed, I have to go all the way to the Emart pharmacy, which is a hassle. Other than that, everything was fine.
26.01.23 Beomeo Ai Sarang Pediatric Clinic

I rarely go to the pediatrician, but during the COVID pandemic, it was urgent, so I went to the Beomeo Ai Sarang Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic right in front of my house to get a COVID test. I was coughing and had a high fever, and when I did a home test, it came out positive with two lines. I tried to go to the internal medicine department to get confirmed, but there were so many people, so I asked at the pediatric clinic downstairs and they said they could do the test, so I got a consultation and the COVID test done there. The pediatric clinic was definitely friendly, and they explained my symptoms and the next steps very clearly, which I appreciated. Since it was a pediatric clinic and the doctor was a woman, I liked how patiently she explained everything. Fortunately, my COVID test came back negative, and I got some cold medicine and felt better. I guess adults can also go to a pediatrician in urgent situations.

The clinic is clean, and both the doctors and nurses are very friendly. I came in with suspicion of COVID-19 and the flu, but fortunately, the tests came back negative, so they prescribed me cold medicine and treated me appropriately without overdoing it. They also offer ultrasound and X-ray tests and provide pediatric care. It's reassuring to know that they have evening and weekend consultations for when you need to visit the hospital urgently. There's also an IV room in the clinic, which is great if you're feeling unwell due to a fever or fatigue and need some fluids. The IV room is tidy, and there are chairs for caregivers too. It seems like it's a good place for elderly patients to get internal medicine consultations as well. The pharmacy is on the same floor, so it's easy to pick up your prescriptions after the appointment. Plus, there's plenty of parking available.
