These days, many hospitals have started to offer evening hours, but when you actually want to go, there aren't many in the neighborhood. Here, they have days with consultations until 8 PM, which is great for going after work during the week. The doctors aren’t overly friendly, but they do everything necessary and provide a clean examination. The nurses are similar; I never felt any unfriendliness during the years I've been going there. The medications are quite effective, so usually, if you take them for the prescribed number of days, you’ll get better! I visited because of my rhinitis. I felt reassured because they were very thorough.

I started going to Hanmaeum Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic because I kept catching colds after moving to Eunpyeong-gu, Eungam-dong. Whenever I went to another hospital, it felt like it didn’t help at all, but after visiting Hanmaeum, I felt a bit reassured. I developed rhinitis and sinusitis, and when I had an X-ray, they told me my nasal bone was also crooked. I had surgery over a decade ago, but my cold wasn't getting better lately, so I went back to Hanmaeum. They suggested another X-ray, and after the exam, the doctor said I had sinusitis again and that I would need surgery. Right now, I don’t have time, so I just got a prescription for medication and plan to have the surgery later. Patients coming for consultations can make their next appointment, so I scheduled my next visit and went home with my meds.

The hospital's name is also a pediatric and adolescent clinic, so it’s a place I visited when my kids caught a cold as well. Usually, in internal medicine or ENT clinics, they prescribe medicine for three days, but since it doesn't get better that quickly, I guess they expect you to come back. I took the three-day medication and felt better, so I didn't return for a follow-up. Anyway, it's a good place.
