My mother has been struggling with pain (abdominal pain) under her right rib for over 10 years. Since 2025, the intensity of the pain has increased, and the frequency has shortened. Despite numerous visits to local and university hospitals, we heard nothing but that it seemed to be psychosomatic. So we decided to give this gynecology practice a try, which we hadn't visited before. The opinions given here were quite different from what the doctors at other hospitals said, and they were persuasive. They explained that the pain is caused by muscle irritation of the nerves from degeneration of the muscle tissue, and that the pain arises from the conflict between muscle and nerve. The treatment involves injecting fluid into the muscles associated with the area of pain in the abdomen and back to help wake them up. Today marks the 4th week of treatment, and my pain intensity has substantially decreased, and I have many more pain-free days. The doctor said that typically after about three treatments, the pain disappears, but in my case, it seems due to neglect and aging, so they have a care plan for up to five sessions, and it seems that further treatment may still be possible with insurance.
