iCity Eye Clinic
The doctor is great, everyone is nice. They did a thorough check-up and even advised on my son's entropion, which led us to have surgery at Baek Hospital. They are kind and wonderful.

*I recently had blepharoplasty with the doctor, and they were really kind and informative. The surgery went so smoothly, and I was impressed with how fast their hands worked. Luckily, the surgery was done very thoroughly, and unlike reviews from other clinics, I hardly bled at all and didn't get any bruising. I'm really grateful to have had the surgery with this doctor.

My child had an eyelid surgery at Severance, but it recurred after just 3 months. The doctor in charge had gone to the US for training, and the new physician is pregnant and going on maternity leave soon, so after some searching, I found this hospital and had the surgery done here. The surgeon is a former head of the ophthalmology department at Severance, so their skills are great, and the hospital is clean with good facilities. However, it does take a few days to make an appointment and there's a bit of a wait for surgery, but in terms of ophthalmology, this place is much better than Severance.

My child had to undergo surgery for entropion, so after searching, I made an appointment and waited a long time for the surgery. But after just three months, it recurred. When we returned, the doctor who performed the original surgery was in the U.S. for training, and there was a new doctor who was pregnant. She mentioned she would soon be going on maternity leave too. She said the recurrence wasn't the child's fault, but things like this rarely happen, as if trying to shift the blame onto us. I got really frustrated. In the end, we had to get the re-surgery done at another hospital.

My child kept saying their eyes were itchy, so we went to the clinic where they suggested surgery for suspected eyelid entropion, which allowed us to get the surgery done at Severance. My older child had a vision test at school, and their results were very low, so we got a re-examination at this hospital. They recommended glasses, but since dream lenses are expensive, they didn't mention them first. There’s no over-treatment, and everyone is kind; it's a decent hospital.

I took my 7-year-old daughter to the ophthalmologist because she kept rubbing her eyes and seemed to have something poking her from her eyelashes. At first, I thought it might just be simple conjunctivitis, but I wanted to take her for a closer look. The doctor started the exam while reassuring my daughter and thoroughly checked her eyelids and cornea with a magnifying microscope. The results showed that her lower eyelashes were curling inward, indicating early symptoms of eyelash entrapment (entropion). They immediately partially removed the problematic eyelashes and prescribed antibiotic eye drops and artificial tears because there were tiny scratches on her cornea. The procedure took just a few minutes, and although she was a little uncomfortable, it wasn’t too painful. Most importantly, they explained everything at a level my daughter could understand and didn’t push for surgery, calmly guiding me about the possibility of improvement during her growth. I felt reassured.
