I had an abscess on my chest... At first, I didn't realize it was an abscess and thought it was a pimple, so I just dealt with it at home. But the area got bigger and started to feel hot and spread. I took some anti-inflammatory medication from the pharmacy and bought some dressings, but nothing seemed to work. So, I went to a local internal medicine clinic, and they told me I needed to go to surgery. When I got back, I looked for a general surgery clinic. The hospital felt a bit shabby, like it was on the older side. There was an older doctor there, and they immediately put me under anesthesia and cut about five centimeters. I thought they would stitch it up, but they said they needed to keep the wound open like this, so I came back home just like that.
