Vision Eye Clinic
I brought my mother back for cataract surgery. The exams and the surgery went very well. Especially since her cataracts had progressed a lot and a smaller hospital couldn't perform the surgery, I felt confident in the doctor's skills and reassurances that he could handle it.

It's been 16 years since I had cataract surgery. The left intraocular lens has detached, so I'm going to have it removed and re-surgeried. The hospital is doing pre-exams and other preparations.

Since I'm in the early stages of cataracts, I received a prescription for eye drops during my visit. When my medication ran out, I saw Dr. Song Jun-seok for an exam and got a refill. If the cataract worsens, surgery will be necessary, but for now, he kindly explained to just keep using the eye drops.

After having cataract surgery 10 years ago, I get regular check-ups every three months. During a recent visit, my left eye had high pressure, and after a CT scan and various tests, they couldn't determine a clear cause. I was prescribed eye drops, and I'm scheduled to return in a month for a follow-up.

One day, my vision started to get blurry, and I kept telling myself I needed to see a doctor but kept putting it off. Eventually, I went to a quiet eye clinic near my office for a check-up. Despite still being relatively young, I found out that I was in the early stages of cataracts. However, the doctor said I could opt for medication instead of surgery. If I chose surgery now, I might have to go through it again later if the cataracts returned, which could be more complicated and risky for my vision. The doctor recommended delaying surgery as much as possible and using medication to slow the progression of the cataracts. So, I trusted the doctor and started the medication, and it seems like my vision is getting clearer. I will continue with the treatment to delay surgery as much as I can.

I visit this place at least once or twice a month, haha. Especially in spring and fall, it feels like home. The only ophthalmologist in Jae-song-dong is kind and has a lot of experience with cataract surgeries; he's really skilled. The other doctors are also friendly, and since I've been coming here for a long time, it always feels comfortable to be in this clinic.

Due to unavoidable circumstances, I came in the day after having stitches removed from my upper eyelid surgery for a cataract exam. Before the appointment, there were many technicians or staff doing various tests, and one of them decided to take a picture of my eye. They grabbed my eyelid with their bare hands (without disinfecting the equipment beforehand or even using hand sanitizer) and ended up tearing my stitched eyelid again. I had clearly asked them to be careful. Later, I realized that this person didn't even know what upper eyelid surgery was. It's ridiculous because I know this hospital does upper eyelid surgeries. The doctor seemed nice, but the overall atmosphere of the hospital was chaotic, and it felt like the staff wasn't well trained. As a result, my stitches have opened up, leaving a scar and making the eyelid uneven. I'm considering a revision surgery for my eyelid.

Two years ago, I was recommended cataract surgery at a famous eye clinic in Gangnam and successfully completed the procedure. Like any clinic, I need to visit every three months for ongoing treatment. Moreover, since it's said that presbyopia can lead to macular degeneration, I can't avoid going. But with moving and now relocating to Seongnam in Gyeonggi Province, it’s very hard to commute. There are likely many good clinics in Pangyo, but I hesitated to go because I didn't know any. However, thanks to a recommendation from a real estate agent, I began visiting this nearby, good clinic. I've already had three check-ups and received eye drops. The clinic is clean, and I trust the doctor's experience. I sincerely hope for the doctor's unwavering kind responses so that I can continue feeling at ease and entrust my precious eyes to them.

I received treatment for a stye and dry eye syndrome, and was prescribed disinfectant eye drops and preservative-free hyaluronic acid eye drops 0.1% (single-use). I visited around 3:30 PM, but there were too many patients, about 30 on the waiting list. I ended up leaving without being seen. When I returned two hours later at 5:30 PM, there were still about 10 patients waiting, mostly elderly patients in their 60s to 80s. The waiting time increases significantly when cataract surgeries are performed, so it seems best to avoid visiting on Wednesdays. There were two nurses, but it seemed insufficient. The examination took about 5 minutes, and the doctor seemed experienced.
